just ordered the plants

Aquafleur Hemianthus callitrichoides and
Aquafleur Eleocharis Acicularis

update!!

plants came today, wasnt expecting them till tomorrow so wasnt really prepared but i got planting anyway

i got one pot of each plant, it was almost too much which was good

heres the empty tank ready for planting

tank with the hc in. i tried to seperate it as much as possible but it was kinda hard without ripping all the roots off

then added the hairgrass, again tried to seperate the strands as much as i could

here it is all filled up

hopefull the hc will spread and form a nice carpet and the hairgrass with grow and fill all the spaces

i am dosing 1ml of tpn+ and liquied carbon every day, and lights are on for about 8 hours a day

cheers, eventually i think i will be getting crystal red shrimp because if they breed i can sell on the babies for a little more then normal cherry shrimp, and i think they look nicer

Love the stones... I think the Acicularis is too tall however. Parvulla may be the better choice here.

its a terrible photo still getting the hang of it. cant really tell if it has grown at all, but it doesnt look to be dieing which is a good thing

you need to cut the hairgras to about 2cm from the substrate, otherwise it wont grow.
