10g little LR with Filter?

Well I am going to try to explain myself! Well I wanted to set up a small nano (2.5g) which i did! Everything whent as planed with the LR and LS. Then I got a damsel which did fine it the small tank. After my Aunt got me a 10g which i want to house the fish and LR. Well heres my question! Can I put all the LR ~2lbs in the tank and use the HOB filter to do the work? Well hope this made sence!

Then will it be enough Filtration for the fishie and the hermits (forgot to mention 3)?

the HOB will be plenty. try to add some more LR when you can. It makes for a more natural filtration process, and looks really cool.

I have a 10 gallon with tons of xenia, zoos, 2 hermits, 2 fish ( I did have 3 but moved one to a bigger tank) feather dusters and a flower anemone. I don't know how many pounds of rock I have in there, but it was not 'live' when I got it. They were just some old 'dead' rock. Now its full of life. All I have for filtration is a bio-wheel 125. Its been up for over a year now.
