100 Gal Tank Suggestions

they guy that owns the only fish store besides petco in town suggested them to be good together and be able to work in there...

and yea i dont know anything about rays as of now, but will have to check out water parameters to see what i can work with

obviously i wouldnt put a LARGE ray in there "referring to davo" and if it did start to reach a substantial size would probably get a smaller one and replace the large one with that

http://www.geocities.com/david_upton_73/water.html ??? whats the deal with the water parameters being different? not too different from what i am reading here? but if they differ in some crazy way that i should know about fill me in 80 degrees seem like a happy median, along with the ph being pretty close

and who says wood cant be kept in a tank with out taking up space on the bottom... plants too? get a little creative

IMO Discus do better at temps exceeding 83F whereas i think Rays prefer cooler temps around 77F, Although I agree they probably will adjust.
However I can never understand why people buy a fish that they can't care for for the whole of its life?

i would say either discus, or rainbow fish, because they are heaps colourful but are very placid

:)
