The juwel can be fitted on any tank if you cut a hole in the hood. It comes with the adaptor that fits in the hood.

Thats good news. You may well be cycled for those 4 fish, but when you put more stock in you will have a mini cycle until the bacteria build up again. If you have cycled in 12 days as it seems, that product has helped, I would say. Keep testing, and if you go 7 days with zero readings it's cycled.

Probably just pregnant, they usually are, at different stages. We got 7 a few weeks ago, within no time we had 2 give birth and now have about 20 little fry in their own tank. They can also have more than one pregnancy from a single mating.

You could isolate the pregnant fish in a net or floating breeding tank or do the same with the agressive individual maybe :dunno:

If you could remove the exixting filter sponges and squeeze them out into the new filter. The actual sponges hardly ever need renewing, just clean filter sponges by rinsing them in some removed tank water when cleaning the tank or doing water changes. This only needs doing when the flow is...

I would think it's going to take a number of weeks for the new filter to become established. If you could prime it by washing the existing filter sponges through the new one's that could help a little. I would leave it to settle down for a week before doing that though.

Hi, Juwel tanks don't need foam underneath as they have a supporting frame. Sounds like your stand is out of true if you have gaps. That would be really bad with the weight when filled with water.
