Ok so I've rinsed the cat litter out for the past hour and a half, and it's still putting a haze of red in my tank It does look nice however, at least, that what I can see of it now.

Any kind of hidey holes, coconut caves etc if you don't have a lot of pebbles they can go between.. Big leaves, something they can sit on, especially if it's a long way up for them to the surface.
