so i was looking online for food to buy for the panda corys i am going to buy.

should i trust this food?

Its aimed at plecs, so i personally wouldn't... mine get allsorts but their main diet in Tetra prima granules and nutrafin max sinking granules which they adore :rolleyes: :lol:

I would go for granules has opposed to pellets - plecs are alot bigger than corys...

Tbh I wouldn't trust non branded foods as you really don't know what's in it.
My corys get hikari sinking wafers, bloodworm, frozen & live, & king British algae wafers
They also love hikari shrimp cuisine that I put in for my shrimp

Great thanks a bunch for your help guys.

I was unsure whether to trust this or not so I'm glad I asked. I was just looking for a bargain lol (aren't we all?!)

Ill have a read of the cooking article see what it's about

Thanks again!

Just on my lunch break at work so thought I would check out the recipe and how to in that link...

Kind of regret it now however I'm still eating my lunch. I'm hungry!

I don't think I will try that one I don't have a blender and I'm rubbish for start up costs

try them on dried tubiflex blocks (I stick mine to the glass about 2 inches up from the substrate) my cories adore them. They also go crazy for frozen bloodworm

Actually made this a few weeks back.

They absolutely go crazy for it, the usual pattern is:

(minding my own business) -->

( Owwww tasty treat) -->

(can't leave this alone, MINE MINE MINE) -->

(oh no, it's all gone!!!) -->

(Found another piece)

Might be worth to boil it first though (at least partially) as my mixer had a bit of trouble blending it as it stayed quite firm. (and to warn you, it does stink a bit

)

Plus side, I have enough to last me 2 years I think (anybody in Bradford can get a packet if they'd like to try it first) I've got enough in my freezer and you only need to use a little bit at a time
I used small kid snack bags (yes they have dogs, dinosaurs and monkeys on

) so you can store it easier.
