There isnt really much room in there for anything as well as shrimp however endlers may do well Originally in my fluval chi i was going to have: 1 betta 3 endlers 5 shrimp but my betta didnt get along with the endlers so they went to my other tank and i now have: 1 betta 3 pygmy corydoras

pygmys and yeah they do if they get to big they will be moved into my bigger tank. sadly am not in the us but ill look around for some black sand :)

I have decided that my project for this summer is to re scape my tank. I have only had the tank a few months but really do not like it so am starting from scratch. I am going to keep my current fish which are four corydoras and one siamese fighter , if anyone has any ideas on where to start...

personally they are not my thing but i can see them going well with your current stocking and there are different varieties of them which is a plus seeing as you wanted individual fish

I have platys in my tank that look like that but the female isnt pregnant also my swordtails are dalmation, tuxedo and pinapple so i dont see how i could end up with a calico swordtail fry ill post a pic in a minute

oh right now i feel stupid and all my plants are silk :) my tank has sand substrate and the ornaments are volcanic rock and the plants :)

Thats the thing I also have a swordtail fry which was almost identical to this one when born and still has the same colouring but it was only a female guppy in the breeding net so i dont see how a fry from the outside could have got in :P Its strange that hes different from the others :P

I know what you mean about livebearers i love my endlers and guppies though :D Yeah gouramis are a bit hit and miss, my females get along with them fine and my friend has 6 with his male betta, but i have heard some horror stories :P

i personally love endlers some people dont :P most peaceful fish work as long as there is no nippy fish such as barbs or small groups of tetras, i think someone actually posted a compatibility topic ill see if i can find it

Do it! I regret not getting a bigger tank if i had the chance now i would do it you can also change your stocking in the future if your taste changes. There are many fish that you can keep with bettas. What sort of temprament does he have? Edit: Your betta would not get lost he would probably...

Yeah every one of my guppies is different i like the variety, my bettas are my favourites though ;) ok thanks, once they are big enough not to be eaten ill release them into the main tank, is it alright that i am just feeding them crushed flakes?

ill keep a few and my lfs will put the rest in their display tank
