penguin filters... first off they are good for oxygenation with a cost..it makes constant spashing noises. the biowheel may stop but can be fixed. the cartridge can be cloged which then can stop the biowheel, this can be fixed by washing the cartrdge in used tank water...

or a fusion air pump(I heard in another forum that it is very quiet by two experienced fish keepers/ I think it was fishlore)with a gang valve :nod:

I thought that ex's are loud...maybe because of a larger model....How about the original tetra whispers/top fins(note top fins don't have a biomedia so you have to buy a bio media for it)
