Lazy lovers!! Just swanning around, eating food and getting fat!!!..........But enough about me! My fish haven't spawned yet, but I am patient!  Sorry. I have been a bit busy at work, and they need a lot of attention. Have a bit of free time now, so hope I can get somewhere.

Zante, I would say it is unlikely to get free swimming fry in a community tank at any point. If the fry make it as far as free swimming, they will most likely become lunch for the other tank mates!  The parents won't have so much trouble protecting the eggs and wrigglers, but they won't be able...

Sorry Guys, I am away working for a few weeks, so the fish are all back in the main tank so it's easier for my girlfriend to take care of them. I need to be at home when they are in the love shack, as they need quite a bit of care.   As soon as I am back home I will put 3 pairs back in there. 

Thanks again guys. A small amount of effort, but a large amount of love went in to it, and never any work to take care of it, but always a joy.

I wouldn't say it is possible to get "100%" to dissolve in an aquarium, but you obviously want to get as much of it to dissolve as you possibly can, to save wasting gas. How are you currently delivering it? Are you just using a ceramic diffuser?   Also what type of filter are you running?   IMO...

Yep, +1 That's Duckweed. You will need to remove it on a regular basis, as it grows so fast it will completely cover the water surface very quickly. Totally harmless little plant though.

I get this from time to time. Not sure what type of solenoid you have, but most are basically the same. There is usually a small orange diode inside the electrical section, which indicates that the solenoid is on. This will let you know there is power going to the unit. Assuming you have power...

Most Tetras, especially Cardinals. Sterbai Corys enjoy the same water parameters as Discus, as do Festivum(Flag) Cichlids, ad even GBRs. Avoid fast moving or boisterous fish, as they may cause stress to Discus.
