yesterday i had 7 little cory eggs hatch.they were swimming around the fry trap happily last night some were fine first thing this morning.later this morning they stopped moving.why? i was told not to feed them for three days after they hatched and this is two days.i changed some of the water...

its platy and swordtails and molly and guppy that can breed. but i know that some of the randy fish do try to breed with the most unlikely fish. i dont think anything can come of it.

the dark ones get a gravid spot the light ones you can see the fry developing in them. they will start to get square when its time.they dont get really big as a rule.

the only thing i could say is otto because a pleco wuld be way to big for a 5 gallon tank. i would just use a agea scrapper myself with that small a tank.

i have 4 two and a half month olds,one 1 and half month old and 7 3 week old platy,about 50 1 and half week old guppy and about 30 cory eggs.

hows the momma doing. i had a molly that aborted her eggs and she got one stuck it was so big it wouldnt come out. i lost the molly. hopefully you have more luck then me.

it could be a runt. i have a platy runt that is about the same size as my guppy fry and theres about two weeks between them.

i would say that if they are black then they are molly fry. my platy started showing their colour within a week.

i beleive the time frame is one to 4 weeks the male gonopdium develops.
