I have made a slate wall with gaps/holes in, which i found at an old, now dis-used quarry. I just soaked them for a few days and built it up inside the tank. Hasnt done any harm in the months ive had them. Although i can't comment on roof slate.

I would remove it, i had a snail come in with a plant, and now have over 40. Each time i get rid of a load, more come after.

Are you sure it isnt honey gourami's that get to 2.5"? With gold gourami getting to around 6"?

Did you get your p + p back? Pretty sure that if they dont deliver in the 24 hours, and its there fault (which it was) then you can claim it back? They have admitted fault already so shouldnt be to hard? And getting 5-6 quid back would be better then nothing to cover the 4 dead fish.

Sorry to jack the thread, but would having fancy guppies with columbian tetras be a bad idea? I have 5 columbian tetras which i was told can be quite nippy, havent had any trouble with them and any of my other fish so far, but i dont have any fancy fined fish at the moment either.
