Thanks, they are both (inc male) doing really well. Neither of them got Ich either which was a pleasant surprise. Over the moon with how they are looking and behaving.

That's great that the levels have stayed at zero. Guppies have a fairly decent bioload so the fact that you have added some mature media too will have given you a great start. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. If ever you need any help the you will always be able to find it here.

I love my Gourami's too but ensure you don't get two males as they can be fiercely aggressive towards each other. A ratio of one male to two females is ideal. Having said that, i only have one female with my male and they get on great but I have lots of places for them to hide if need be.

Hi Adam, you sound like you are in fish-in cycle situation which means your filter isn't cycled yet. This is a process that can take at least a month to complete. It's all about developing the correct bacteria in the filter to ensure deadly chemicals such as Ammonia and Nitrite are not present...

Yes I did know what Glowlights looked like as had done a lot of research before buying them. I did question the staff and was told they had finished spawning and that the colour dies down which I knew to be correct with various species of fish. Pardon me for not being a walking Fish species...

Yes it's a great idea just don't use it on plants that shouldn't have fertilisers used on them such as Lavender and any wild flowers. I did and it killed them off due to the Nitrates in the water.
