I have now stocked my aquarium as follows: 5 x Zebra Danios, 2 x Yellow German Guppies, 4 x Dragontail Guppies and most recently 2 x Golden Loach. All seem to get on well and eat well and are characters. To complete I am now thinking of 2 x Platties and 2 x Black Mollies. Does this make sense????

The tank has been set up exactly fourteen days ago to the day. I took a water sample into the LFS on Saturday last weekend and the only issue was with the nitrate, i.e. slightly high. I was told to 10% water change every other day for 7 days. I use tap water and a small amount of boiled water...

The advice at the Resource Centre is very comprehensive. I have found the time lapse between setting up and the first purchase frustrating but I am fully aware that the cycling process is so important!!
