Done another 50% water change, can defo see a lot of tiny white/yellow spots on a few of the Black Guppies, do you think if i keep doing 50% water changes every day it will cure it? I have increased the temp to 28/29.

They still seem to swimming about fine, will check stats and do another 50% water change, In was tempted to get some remedy from my LFS.

Hi all, I'm just back into the hobby after a long lay off, tank all cycled (4 months) Just a quick question about feeding, Is it best to feed a small amount in the morning and again a small amount in the evening?

Defo not that clear on the fish, will crank up the heating and do some daily water changes, very easy in a 23litre tank, lol

Hi Mikaila31, I havent done my big water change yet, I was going to do it tommorow and buy the fish on Sat, I did check my tap water for Nitrates and its about 20ppm.

Have just finished my fishless cycle on my tank, qualifying week complete but just done all my testing tonight and my Nitrate was away up at 160ppm, do you think i need to test again?? Or is their something more wrong and what does that mean?

Yes they knew they were for my tank, I bought all the plants together, the hallogens are pretty bright, I will see how it goes with them for now, maybe do a bit of reasearch on the mini tubes. Thanks again

I'm Going back to my LFS 2moro and hopefully get to the bottom of them selling non aquatic plants, I'm currently looking for and LED upgrade for the Hallogen lights that come with it, i dont think they are very bright for live plants. Hopefully getting fish in there soon. Thanks for the kind...

That was my intention, 5 male bright tailed guppys to start and maybe 3 or 4 cherry shrimp after a few weeks. :good:

As i only have a small 23 litre tank, will 5 small male guppys be ok to start off with? Will they produce enough waste to keep the tank fully cycled? :good:
