found a small instruction sheet in the bottom of the box, beneath the polystyrene holder!!! It is an air pump, not a submersible filter. I'm happy thats all sorted! and glad I didnt try it in the bath! it really didn't look to be submersible. Matt

Interesting article, I just spent £5 today on a bottle of Cycle hoping it would help the development of my new tank. As long as my ammonia, nitrite and fatility level stay at zero though i'll be happy! Matt

Had the water in there for a week with filter and pumps running quite a lot. treat water with Aqua Plus tap water treatment and added some Stress Zyme live bacteria too. Not using a heater, but the room generally is always warm. Now going to just have the larger fish for a week at least...
