haha nahs she a little softie she stays dead still in her little hiding place so i pull her out gentley by her tail then befor she gets a chance to do anythink grab her round the neck and she quite happliy sits there in your hand :)

yeh she will be in tanks for about 3-4 years before i have to move her but eventually i will be planning some sort of room in my garage with heat lamps and a pond

yeh shes pretty cool, yep i am in the uk you need a DWA lisence to own one of these fellas tho, she will grow to around 3.5ft but most of that is her tail being over 1ft long....... feeds on insects, fish and small mice ( i feed her on pinkies at the moment )

Hi guys just fort id get some pics up of my caiman and let you know what a nightmare my weekend has been!!! i had her in a 8ft x3ft x2ft tank for the past 7months but on friday whilst i was adding some new rocks and bog wood i slipped a rock fell and broke the tank :angry: :crazy: :angry...

Hi mate mine are wild and i have always said they are super reds, but saying that my mate has some that are just as red!! one thing that we do is befor a meal i drop in some tetra colour boost fish flakes (They dont seem to mine eating them) then give them some salmon fillet! within a few days...

dont listen to them mate i had 4 in a tank near enough the same size as that for over a year befor i had to get a bigger tank and they wer quite happy in it!! and if there still not feeding, goto your local asda fish counter and buy a fresh salmon fillet ( it will be around 90p ) cut it into...

:D all in all hes pretty shy iv had a few nips on the hand when he was a baby but its pretty much like a little puppy biting you with small teeth!! he was £400 and then the tank was expensive aswell Dangerous,Wild,Animals License is DWA :P hope thats helped you out :good:

i dont have a tape mesure handy but i think its around 3ft x 1.5ft x 2ft high (i think) 260ltrs approx

hey mate yeh my spelling sucks!! haha yeh in all fairness mate hes a really easy pet to keep this species growns to around 4.5foot , at the moment i have him in a 9ft aquarium! but i think within a year i will need to start looking into other ways of keeping him, costs are not to bad as he only...

haha :P well i have....... 2 nets air pump all the things you see in the tank ( croc skull, bog wood, fake plants ) nitrate test kit bottle of aqua safe Thats pretty much it really and it obvisoly comes with all the lighting

yeh alot of people do ask for SA chilids!! mainly its the marine section i work on. if you see the central chilid tank we have, that will soon be a big marine tank with bamboo sharks :) should be nice!!

well i am hoping for the tank to go asap as i need the room for a new motorbike i am getting sunday, i could deliver that far on a sataday or sunday for £50 extra so the tank would be £250 :)
