the cories are in a 2 as i was given them, they have bred so much be happy and well. what could i put with the 4 discus? i was thinking shoal of something and couple bottom feeders.

you say a mature tank. my filter etc is mature but ill be changing everything inside tank slate for wood gravel for sand

might be that you moving them around....they hold babies in there mouths to keep them safe, sometimes they eat them to keep them safe but dont realise they eaten them

as above. i think i will just add all 5 in. so my final tank would be 5 discus 1 GD plec and 2 corydoras.

same. i think i could probly keep them but i think 5 is too costly. im thinking start with 3 and add when i get funds

5-6 feeding a day i couldn't manage but i could do 4 with ease. i have kept cichlids etc and want to move on. i bred firemouths etc but now its time for something new.

think discus may be the way forward then :)
