You should never dispose of fish in this way.You can always take them back to the LFS.They will invariably take them off your hands,but not give you any money for them.

I have the self same problem with platys,have a nice juvenile Angel who tail fin has been nipped.I have just added some treatment to the tank,which will hopefully aid the recovery of the tail fin.Never flush fish down the toilet that is very cruel. Try taking them back to the LFS,most will take...

Clown loaches love to eat snails,maybe if you introduced a few that would do the trick.I have also heard of assassin snails which apparently bump them off,the forum that includes inverts will have more info on snails. Jon :good:

I would not suggest an Angel or larger Gourami.I have a red dwarf gourami, who tries to bully my Angels. I think you would be safe with guppies, platies,sword tails and maybe a nice pleco or silver shark. Make sure the water conditions are good and it should pull through,they are quite hardly...
