My first thought was "dragonfly" but it has no wings and does not really look like a dragonfly larva. I'm not too concerned as this is the hospital tank and there are no fish in there at the moment...I'm just keeping the hospital tank going in case more of the mollies I previously had problems...

Is my cat going to be arrested for removing frog spawn from my pond and eating it? LOL As a child I never had any real luck hatching and keeping frogspawn indoors. You can hatch the eggs but the frogpoles rarely reach maturity...indeed I never recall them doing so indoors. Best to leave them...

The poor fish in the photo died today...so I guess its not a salt issue. I am back to thinking it must be genetic as every other fish (mollies, tetra, angel fish) has been fine...except for the young mollies. THanks to everyone who gave advice.
