thanks :) I would try the filter media.but it's different sizes and wrong shape. I've been testing my water and I tested the was wrong lol I wondered why the water test was clear and I look on the back of the colour chart and a needed to add bottel two LOL I thought it was a extra bottel LOL...

it's 55 gallons 260 litres In it. I don't know for sure how many fish are in their. As my 3 ft tank was over stocked so I have put some fish into the new tank. I will take the meication out as it says I can reuse it. So is it ok if the nitrite goes up just not the ammonia? Thanks x

a friend has just bought me the API Freshwater Master Test Kit and its on its way as we speak :)

right well i did a 70/80% water change last night. as i didnt like the sand so i put in gravel. and im not feeding them alot as i heard you feed them the bare minume at this moment in time, i will ask my mum for that as i have no money now :/ here are some pictures with the new gravel :)

i went to the pet shop yesterday and they have figure 8 puffers for normal tropical fish. so when i have finished cycling my tank im gunna buy acople. these were in madienhead aquatics so if you have any near you, check it out.

Thanks for everybodies advise and help and i have really taken it all in. when i go into a aquatic center i expect the best advise. but knowing that i didnt get that has really hurt me and maybe even my fish. but i will do 40% water changes twice a week, and try and do my best to keep them...

well I can only go on advise which I'm told at the time. the fish shops I use are expert in there field. I hadn't had time to come online. The women who sold me the pleco said he would be ok in a 4ft & bigger.

nope, but a person at the fish shop said i could have the fish in it on saturday but it has been running for 3 full days.
