Yeh, sounds cool :D I think you def do it :D Spose it might cost a bit... live rock, £11 a kilo or something, hydrometer £15 or so, couple shrimp at £15 each... but it would be cool :D plus you could have a go at raising baba's Hahaha... I'll bring my credit card shall I? LOL

I would have thought if you put a nice chunk or two of live rock in, possibly a protein skimmer (*cough* free *cough*), small power head to avoid it being stagnant, would sort it out nicely. Shrimps wont create much bioload I wouldn't have thought. Also, you could do with a couple of hermits...

I dont know what species this is, but be very careful. It has small pincers, which means it probably has potent venom. I am be no means an expert (haha), but it looks a bit like a 'deathstalker'... which is very dangerous. It does look like a desert species, so dry conditions, a heat mat on...

If you've got the money, I would go with some live rock. Makes cycling very quick, and makes the tank look nice, and provides food for fishies. Things like cleaner shrimps, hermit crabs and other's are very easy... defitnitely beginners inverts :D Yeh, well, as I say, up to about 35" of total...

Are you using live rock? If so, that will cycle the tank. Add the live rock, keep an eye on the ammonia/nitrite spikes, and when nitrite goes down, add one or two hardy fish/inverts. I'm not sure why you say you will add clowns 'much much later'? They are a good starter fish, nice and hardy...

Sounds good to me too. Is there any reason the phosphate reactor and carbon aren't together? I dont mean that in a cocky way, I mean, would it be best to place them both in either 1 or 3?
