A very difficult fish to photograph: She's about 2 1/2". So I guess she'll just get fatter before giving birth. She seems pretty active and happy right now so I'm not sure she'll be giving birth anytime soon. Any estimates/predictions on when she'll give birth? :)

I thought I had only three fry. Turns out I have four. Don't think there's a fifth one. If you move the net very slowly, it won't scare the fry away and you can corner the fry against the glass.

The little fry is fast but not clever enough to avoid a net and has been moved to another tank. He/she is seems to be happy and is regularly doing laps around the tank. He/she is eating fry food as well. :)

Darn surviving fry is extremely difficult to net. It is extremely quick. It is staying put among the live plants. It looks like it's just barely big enough to not fit into another fish's mouth. I'll try to take pics tonight.

What was once a dark gravid spot has turned into something else more complicated. This female has been like this for a couple days now. She still seems to be acting normally. Not sure how long it will be when she'll give birth.
