Hi, This morning I found one of my female platy looking awful, her scales seem to be slightly raised. I have a feeling she has just had babies as her tummy is flatter and i saw a little baby swimming around but only one. Could this be why she looks sick? Aussie1 :unsure:

Could some one please tell me how long to fishless cycle for. I have read about adding Ammonia during this time, is that the same as Ammonia nitrate/up down and what other chemicals should i add. The chemicals may be called some thing else here in Australia. cheers Aussie1

Hi, I have live & plastic plants in my 145lt (Australia) tank and am wondering if it is ok to have a fine mist air stone running. I have 3F mollies (2babies make 5) 1m, 3f platy's, pair dwarf gouramis, 2 corys, 3 bristlenose and 2 silver sharks. Can any one see a problem with these inhabitants...

I think they are called Balantiocheilos Melanoptrus. Theu are so beautiful. shiny silver with black edging on their fins. Hope this is helpful as i really want to know if i have a pair. Thank you.
