thanks for replys they seem fine together no flaring or aggresion they just seem to ignore each other .

what would be best to do i can put betta in uncycled tank and do lots of water changes as i wont be able to get to lfs until fri. or just leave them be.

ok thanks for reply they seem ok at the moment maidenhead aquatics said they will be fine together as both fish came from there the betta seems quite a peacful fella as i said i do have another tank put isnt cycled yet so i didnt want to put him in there yet . i have brought him a 8 gallon hex...

hi thanks for reply i dont no what to do now i have had them in tank since friday seem ok just ignore each other the gourami is a lot larger then the betta i dont think the thick lipped gourami has long fins or is very bright in colour thanks for your advice anyway i do have another tank which...

hi cardinals are not the hardiest tetra i had 8 cardinals they all fine for the first 2 weeks then they all slowley died off 1 each day .They are not for your average community tank but with the right conditions they will thrive. Check pH at least twice a month and keep it 6.4-6.8.

will male betta and male thick lipped goourami get on ok in community tank lfs said betta and gouramis will be fine together .

-_- got 2 female plateys todays red eyes seem to be attacking plateys they settelled down after i fed them is this normal as bloke in fish shop said they would be ok together

:D so would it be ok to keep all male platties together or would they fight and would they be ok with my red eyes

:P i was thinking of plattys but i was worried about them breeding would it be ok to get just males or females or would a single platty be ok
