any one know where they have female bettas in?

Hi guys,

Well I've been looking and looking for months in my LFS's but none of them ever have females, they always have males though.

So my question being, does any body know of the surrounding areas of Enfield (middlesex), Essex, susex etc where they have females bettas in ?

I've tried alot for the last couple of months, but nothing

hi i see some female bettas in maidenhead aquatics in chipperfield hertfordshire on fri they have a shop in enfield check there .or check there website /www.fishkeeper.co.uk for other local branches.

Thanks for the response!, I checked on maindhead aquatics today on crews hill which is the near one to here but they didn't have any females, they did have males, which I bought for my room, tomorrow I might go the the one in chipperfield to check them out, or I'll call them first!.

I'm staggered that with all those nice shops around Enfield/Crews Hill there were no females. Wildwoods is one of my favourite shops in England!

I know I was surpised that none had any females, I went to all of them and that's about 15 Fish shops and NONE had any , one of them was the same branch that I got the female bettas from today (mainhead aquatics), they said they do get them in but not to often.

The other Mainhead aquatics shop guy told me that females are quite popular there and usually bring them in when they are all gone.

But in the end after months of looking and asking I finally got my girls! 8)

I think you're really lucky living there! I used to drive up from the South Hampshire coast to visit that cluster of great shops!

Yup its a great place, lot of other shops too, some nice gardening places and the whole what not. We like to go there
