I've had a 2 gallon acrylic tank for over a year. There aren't that many scratches on it. No noticeable ones, that is. I just bought a 5 gallon acrylic a few months ago, it also has no scratches.

I use spring water for Chase. Always have. With his small tank, it's cheaper and easier than trying to measure out dechlorinator for 2 gallons of water. But I bought some Stress Coat to use with my 5 gallon that I'm cycling.

My betta used to do that all the time! I even bought him a few different foods, but he didn't even try to eat them. :crazy: After a few months, he stopped doing it. I have no idea why, maybe he was sick or something. Hopefully your betta will stop doing it too.
