For small fish, neon tetra are active, colourful and small. They like to be in groups of 6 or more. Also there are many other types of tetra that would look great in a small tank. :) a school of about 4-6 albino/bronze corys are also a good addition

Hi, I've heard angelfish can be good tankmates, and yes livebearers and tetra look very nice alongside corys :good:

You might want to invest n some hatchet fish as they look really unusual and cool, and never leave the top! :good: Marble hatchet.

No tank mates. Thanks for the information, i can't wait to have baby angels :D Not being funny but... I do have a cat who tends to stare at the angels a lot, could this be causing them to eat their young?

Hi, I have been trying to breed my 2 angelfish for the past 3 weeks but as soon as the eggs are laid, the male eats them, even as they are coming out. Is this a sign of distress or something else? Regards, James

Hi, I had problems cycling my 2ft tank when i first got it, it's well stabled now and accomodates a variety of corys and catfish however many fish died in the process of getting it to this stage :/ I'm soon to be purchasing a new 4ft tank and don't want the same problems, so if you can supply...

Thanks inchworm :) My LFS only sells female gouramis at the moment so that's not a problem. As for the tank cycling, i'll be sure to post in the begginers section.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any tips on the fishless cycle as my last one when terribly wrong and many fish died before i could get the balance right :/

Hi, have been wondering if gouramis mix well with a range of corys and catfish. I have had all in separate tanks and wonder if i could mix them together as this would look attractive in my new 4ft tank. Regards, James
