I was wondering where i can find a co2 system with everything i need for under 100$.. the best one ive seen so far is the redsea co2 pro system... anything just as good for less?

one of my angels in my 55 gal is growing the white cotton fungus... would it be ok for my plants if i added aquarium salt to deal with the fungus?

do you think i can plant dwarf hairgrass.. without my balas eating it... and with the whole larger gravel would that be bad... under the gravel is flourite soil though so...?

Ok.. my water is a bit of a dark redish brown color and i have what looks like foam on the surface in front of the filter... this all happened when i removed the filters for a few hours while adding fin rot meds... its a 55 gal planted tank... i figured the filter would clean it up but it still...

Meds are called... T.C. Tetracycline... All the water parameters are good.... The fish are fine.. one angel fish did die with no explination.. but all the fish are active and healthy.. the water is just an odd color and the foam keeps coming back...

The water in my tank has turned redish. It started after i took out the filters to apply medication for fin rot.. The water changed color to match the color of the medication... and then when i put the filters back in it stayed kind of a dirty lake color... and on top of the water there is...

no CO2 deffuser... 55 us gal... 3 angels, 3 balas,...mostly just assorted sword plants... carbon is in filter

I've been planting a 55 gal.. and i added some high power satellite lights a few days ago and now im getting black stuff on two or three leaves on my sword plant.. how do i get rid of it? what is it exactly?

those would have to be some really tiny neons for a dwarf gourami to eat them... i have a gold gourami in a tank with 5 neons and he doesnt even seem to notice they're there

Clown loaches are generally bottom feeders... and mine was nocturnal so... maybe they eat when you're asleep... do you have any of those pesky snails in your tank?

I added two 65 watt lights in my 55 gal... they've been on for a few hours and im already developing hair algae... and that black crap all over two leaves of my sword plant.. will plant safe algae killer work? or what should i do to get rid of it

Well.. i got the new glass hood.. looks just like the pic fishkiller_nomore put up... and its great.. idk if i should cut the thing in back to fit the filter and heater though.. and i bought two 24" 65w lighting fixtures... problem is... they're too big and overlap my tank... my tank is exactly...

ok.. I'm going to buy a new lighting fixture for my 55 gal aquarium... but the fixture im wanting is just the actual fixture without the lil flip hoods... unfortunately the fixtures on my current lighting is connected to the hood.. so im going to need an all new hood.. can i get just a seperate...

plants need co2... i breathe out co2. i get straw and blow into tank against plants lightly a few times a day.... will that give em a lil co2 or is it just blowing into a tank with a straw in an attempt to save 15$

Puffers... bad idea.. they are mean and brakish.... clown loaches will eat the snails... get one clown loach, let him eat up all the snails.. and return him before he explodes (they get BIG)... works for me. but my clown is still in there, i had upwards to 100 snails, not a single one anymore...

i have a school of 5 neon tetras in my 10 gal, one of them is a bit of a wanker and chases the others around all the time.. i had to replace 3 neons because they died of stress. the water was fine. he is the only one being aggressive
