Black Splotches On Plants

I've been planting a 55 gal.. and i added some high power satellite lights a few days ago and now im getting black stuff on two or three leaves on my sword plant.. how do i get rid of it? what is it exactly?

Probably brush algea. It usually grows on slow growers and is hard to remove mechanically. The best way is to remove the affected leaves. Siamese algea eaters eat this kind of algea.

cool.. i have one of those lil buggers in a different tank... he's little though and this is a big leaf... he'll be happy =D
