Hi all, Just a quick question... How do you go about aclimatising shrimp before putting them in my tank? Is it the same as fish?

ok cool... thanks for the info. i dont seem to have any probs with the rosy barbs or zebra danios at that temperature, but doing some reading it seems shrimp can be a little more sensitive. I may have to invest in a heater!!

I have just bought some plastic plants for my freshwater aquarium, the thing is though, when I opened them they smell really plasticy, would this be an issue putting them in my tank? I have them soaking in just water at the moment... Do I need to do anything else? Or am I just being over...
