No, not yet, they seem to be a bit freaked out, dropped a few corie pellets in there but havnt seen them eating anything yet and when i walk in the room the drop like a stone (i have seen them playing about though) will this become less of a problem in time or is this just a personality trait?

oh ok, well i might be tempted to do just that but the LFS employees are total dropkicks and they just work for the company, so they would gain nothing by doing more work..?

no, they arent actually blue, but that is the common name, and i doubt this LFS would dye or buy dyed fish.. its a mainstream trusted FS. So could/should i get 2 more cories and a dwarf gourami?

No, i agree, i really think if you went with sand and real plants, and got rid of the tacky deco then it would/could look amazing, you have a nice tank and a good stock so if u just tweeked it a little than it would be good. Dont take all these replies personally though.. its all constructive...
