This is why I asked if it was normal for silvers to have red/pinkish colours in them. He is about 9" long......
Remember the flash does dull out his colour :hey:

This is a 230 gallon tank.
It takes up the wall in my dinning room.
Yes there is a window that part of the tank takes up. Looks really pretty in the morning when the sun comes in through the window. The rays love to bask in the sunlight. But in this picture, the shade is down. You should see pics of the frisbees flying throgh the air by the window.
As far as I know, I have never heard of Arrowana's being dyed.
Mine is not dyed and was sold to me as a silver.
He really seems to have some red/pinkish tone to him. I love the look of this but I also love the look of an older silver.
Ah either way, he is still a cool fish! ;)

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! mine has red fins to, so your not alone, he is a bit smaller than yours about 7-8", kool fish or what!

Pretty much all silvers look like that when they are young. YOUR NOT SPECIAL!
I love silver arowanas, one day i hope i am able to own one.

That is one beautifull silver you've got there EG, i've never seen one with so much red in the fins. It might fade out as it grows but if you keep pleanty of krill and shrimp in its diet it should retain at least some of it.
