after a lot of research i decided to get 2 kribs for my tank m+f they seemed to be fine yesterday, checked in my tank this morning and my 3 corys have gone in to hiding 1 has half a tail and a couple of other fish are missing chunks out thier tails, im sure its the make krib and im not sure...

i have 96l tank with 2 micky mouse plattie & 2 sunset platty amongst other fish, trouble is the bigger of the 2 mm plattie (dont know if its male or female) has now started bullying chasing my ss platie so they seem to be spending a lot of time in hiding, i only have have another 10g tank which...

can any body help over the last week or so my little plattie has changed shape looks like he sort of got a hump but looks like he gone arch shaped, he head looks a little distorted to almost caved in, it is still swimming around happily and eating but some thing is not right Any ideas any one

you should probably find out whats wrong before you start adding anything! if it is tb then salt isnt gonna do much. and u dont kno what plecs are in there so adding salt could do more harm than good. Corrina - post the pic in the emergency section, mite get more help there. Thanks all...

Any body have any idea as why my sunset platty has changed shape he seems to have taken on a hump back almost arch shapeed, its still eat and swimming around fine, been like it for a week now, also noticed of my danios has gone arch shaped but he dont look to clever resting on the bottom...

only got these little pepperd corys 3 days ago already they are my favourate fish, so much fun to watch, i only have 3 at the moment willbe adding a couple more

Just an update, pets at home said that the barbs would be fine, since finding a new lfs( natural world ) i realise i have been misinformed, i have now lost all fish took them to N.W and some of my water which was fine, they did a scrape of fish had they had white spot which i did notice later on...

water temp 26 no pollutant could have got in there i dont have small kids around so i can be pretty sure on that no they werent gasping for air the tank holds 30 litres i think thats 7 gallon i thought 4 barbs would have been fine

Ive just lost two fish, i only have a biorb up and running at the moment, cycled with two tiger barbs took 4 weeks intoduced two green tiger barbs last week, this morning they were fine i looked in the tank a little later 1 tiger barb alive just but upside down on the bottom managing to move...

yes i will compact the sand down, im only putting a bit of fine black gravel on top as the sand looks very boring on its own. As for fish i cant make my mind up i did want a community tank but i seem to be falling in love with cichlids but im not sure if they easy to keep so just finding info...

had a bad experiance with live plants so not to keen as for the mash i thought it would save me from having to feed the fish :nod: i do have some black gravel that will be going on top when set up is complete.

Hi all at last i managed to talk my hubs into updating my biorb to a jewel rekord 96 had it about 2 weeks now and setting it up slowly i still need to put a few more things in it but im not sure what cant make my mind up between wood and slate descisions descions, any way hope you like it...
