Yup. It's been a long, long time since I've been on here. So, I just thought I would post a quicky update on my bettas. Shortly, I'll be down to four. Two of my guys are getting new homes shortly where they'll be in a split 10 gallon. All of these bettas got a little out of hand for me seeing...

That would be good.. and I don't think bettas need 2 gallon minimums, all of mine are happy in 1-1.5 gallons.

God, so many times. I was once at Walmart and saw this beautiful whiteish bodied with purple and mint green finned VT.. He was so pretty. :wub: and then when I went to Petsmart I saw a purple and white CT, came back for him the next day, and he was gone.. :sad:

Ah, PETA. Love some of their ideas, but their ways of protesting are just messed up. :S One time they had someone dress in nothing but underwear, paint their body to look like a tiger, and be locked up in a cage in the middle of the city. It was to protest circus animals.. Kind of.. EXTREME.

Size - I guess maybe 2 inches? Food - Betta pellets, flakes, live foods, freeze-dried foods (although not highly recommended) tank mates - I don't know much about tank mates, but bettas do much better off alone. personalities - depends on the fish. Some of mine are lazy, some are hyperactive...

I taught Sebastian how to jump for food. Just hold a pellet over your bettas head and see if he/she will jump for it.
