It depends on the tank and your preferences really. I find a condensation tray helps as the water collects on that instead of under the hood of the tank, this makes it easier for me when performing routine maintenance and cleaning as I can remove the tank lid without dripping water everywhere...

The nitrAte colour chart is oranges the nitrItes zero is light blue. Sorry I meant Nitritres. :blush: The Nitrates colour is a dark orange/red colour :)

I had the same problem with Beunos Aries Tetra and blindcave fish.....it was terrible to see them constantly nipping at the poor corys.
