is it the sand thats making the water cloudy if so then i dont kno maybe just try sum water changes but if its just the water is mirky then try a chemical called kents freshwater pro-clear it worked like a charm when i used it cleared up the water in less then 5 hours

the one near me is good they take good care of the fish nd they have a good selection containing various cichlids, tetras, corys, sharks, barbs, etc.

both my 29 gallon nd my 35 gallon are in my room upstairs in the corner farthest from the window

ive heard glass canopies are better but are they any cheaper ?

i was reading my tanks hood manual nd it says for 24" hood(which i have), use T8 or T12 tubular daylight fluorescent lamps rated "15 watt" maximum. does that mean i cant get better lights

well its been 2 months since my 29 gallon has been running so i decided to change it nd i got a question my penguin biowheel filter has 2 filter cartridge spots so when i want to change the cartridge should i justput the new cartridge in the 2nd slot and after like a week take out the old one?

ok but for future reference how r u supposed to change the filter cartridge so that my tank doesnt go threw a mini cycle

ok that sounds good but i read that most cichlids are agressive the only one ive seen thats a community fish is the keyhole cichlid is there ne other communty cichlids cuz i wannna put 1 or 2 cichlids in a community tank(either 29 or 35) with sum other fish which i have not chosen yet...
