i have raised african chiclids and now have a 75 gallon mulit fish tank... but i have a few extra 20 gallon tanks and was wondering if i got like 1 male betta and about 3 or 4 female bettas ... with lots of rocks, and tons of plants would they live in a nice little world and make babies and...

this is great... it is normal for the female to not eat much at all for a while... soon when the fry can swim she will spit them all out for a sec and eat and suck them back in! dont worry she knows what she is doing! good luck .. and like the above person said .. move her or at least make sure...

im a newbe on here but i have had african chiclids for about 5 years! and one some one said that the males dig holes! wrong... the females lay their eggs on a smooth place a rock or in a corner... then the female picks up the eggs in her mouth... then the female goes over to the male and nips...

thanks.. like i said i just know that with my african chiclids the female was very protective.. and a mouth breeder... and the fry made it to about 2 weeks old and could hide on their own! ... never done live breeders

i know u dont have any fish yet but ...u might wanna get a clown loach? they are very mild tempered and go well with most fish.. he will go to work and kill all ur snails!
