ah right it was i was told on other sites that sand is the best to use ? same problem with the lizards i keep some say no to sand others say not a problem

hi thanks for all that info helps alot my set up is 4ft long 18"wide and 18" tall it is filled up to about 15" i would say ? in the first pick you can see 1 basking spot then i also have a turtle dock in the middle,it is on a big external filter for cleaning plus i remove all uneaten food...

so whats best to feed them on then ? what do your like ? i have read the care sheet and i keep lizards so they will get some crickets/mealworms/wax worms but what else is it ok to start them on carrots cucumber etdc ? i also got some jbl gammarus dry food what else can i vary there diet with ?

got them they look good got 5 of them,3 are floating,2 have sunk im presume they will sink and float ?

thanks guys i really like the white rocks blend in with the sand great,but may change in the future. i still have the bog wood,was going to sell it on ebay may get a few £ for it. the one with the plants on cost me £35 :-(

well i had a make over on my tank the last few weeks,one of the main things is,the jewel filter has gone in place is an etiem external filter :D anyway here is what it looked like before. and here are a few new ones :D and a few more plants added just got to wait for the plants...

i was looking at the tecra tec 700

im going to changeing my tank in the next month or so and i wont to take the inter filter out to start,its a jewel rio 125 tank,my first question what would be the best external filter to go for ?

im thginking of getting some terrapins has anyone got these are they easy to keep ? also will 2 be ok in a jewel rio 125 tank ? and help pics links would be great :D

its a juwel rio 125 tank there are 17 fish so far. 6 tiger barbs 3 are albinos. 4 different sorts of Corydoras and 5 different sorts of tetras o and a couple of mollys
