siamese flying fox's are great algae eaters, i don't know what they are like at higher temps though

my tank has a terrace... i did mine with green slate rocks its alot cheaper than the plastic terrace stuff you cant really tell that much from those pics but the back is higher by 5-6 inches

the tank is a new type juwel rio 300, so its 350 ltrs. it says on the bottle to use every other day and when you do a water change?

i wouldnt pay that for it either, it has a funny coating on it too, which i'm sure would come off over time. you can get 25kg of gravel for £10

i have only dosed the recommended amount but i think it has damaged them when i do a water change as you dose a larger amount, i might just use dechlorinator for water changes and put in 9ml every other day and see how that goes.

its an expensive way of buying it, but if your not bothered by the cost go for it

so i'm best off dosing just under the required dose? i think thats what i will do in future i will put in 9ml instead of 10ml and see how i get on

the backing is quite expensive but i think it looks better, apart from the join but you can't really do alot about that

what everyones opinons on using flourish excel when you have vallis? i've heard that it can kill them? but i have also read that other people have had them spread like mad using it? whats eveyone else think?

i would love to be able to tell you what it is but the truth is i don't know, it was tiny when i first got it and it's spread really well, i have taken some cuttings off and planted them and they seemed to have taken and are growing well. i could probably send you a cutting

well i have juwel rio 300 and i have the lights on from 16:45 utill about 23:00 each day, i use plants alive grow tabs and also dose florish exell every other day.....when i remember lol anything you think i could do better?

ahh ok i will have to find a rock to tie it too, is it a n easy grower? and does it spread easily? thanks for your reply

Hiya guys i was wondering if anybody would be able to help me with this plant, i'm sure its a jave of some kind. The problem i have is how should i plant it? i have in burried in the substrate at the minute but i hear it should be tied onto a rock or bogwood, any help we be gratefully recieved...

i have a juwel rio 300, but if i was you i would look at the roma 240, it seems alot better value than the juwel tanks. seapets do them at a good price with free delivery, hope this helps.

i would like some moonlights too and ones with ajustable brightness would be better, how many would i need for a juwel rio 300?

i have a bb 9700 bold and i think its great. i would have a bb again anytime :)
