Oh my god, I just saw that my other fish who was unaffected got some sort of white sand on him, but like severe. My other goldfish who got affected first seemed to start healing somehow. Is it aquarium sand or?? Because sometimes they like to swim right into the sand.

It's not Sendinggggggg :angry::angry: But one of my fish has a teeny tiny split tail u can't even notice it but I have 0 clue on how it got here :( Right now, they're doing a little better tho! not attacking as much but the fish getting chased is still scared.

Hello! I've been observing my Goldfish a LOT, so I sometimes noticed them having reddish poo. I feed them red AND green pellets(a lot more of green), so how come there is more red poo than green? If i'm correct, their poo is based on what they ate, so I'm getting very worried they have a health...

I don't use tap water, I use bottled spring water. Also, I use conditioners too. I'm really confused because I've been cycling for 3 months?!

Also, what do I do if my ammonia levels stayed the same EVEN though I changed the water?

I was cleaning out my tank sponge, but I heard that the bacteria live in the sponge. However, I have this bag thingy with tiny balls inside in my filter. Did my bacteria wash down the drain?

Thanks for all of your replies! Just one question: I saw that I had apox 3-4ppm of ammonia in my tap water, so should I still use my tap water? If not, what else do I use? I don't think water conditioner will help with ammonia.

The temp is usually 74-74 degrees. I don't have a bubbler, not sure if that's necessary? My PH is 6.8-7 ppm. How do I raise the PH?

Hello! No matter what I do, whether it's putting beneficial bacteria to adding more plants, my fish tank refuses to cycle. It's looking pretty normal with nitrates(10-15ppm), but still ammonia. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong? This is a 10 gal fishless tank.

How should I raise the PH? I currently have 6.8 PH, but I heard you need it higher so that your tank will cycle faster. I've heard you should add baking soda, but not sure if that's safe.

I don't think it is cycled if you tested it accurately. What type of test are you using? API?

I use fish food for the source of ammonia. not sure if that's the best idea.

I was looking at my fish tank when I noticed white tiny specks floating around in the water. What is that? Here is a picture, although you need to look really close cause the camera couldn't focus:
