Yes the current lamp has a reflector behind it. How do they work though? I mean how do you install them? im rather poor at fish tanks DIY :crazy:

Yep shes right, Sea moneys are brine shrimp. And yes they can be fed to fish, ideal for small fry, because brine shrimp are small, but hey still a nice treat for any fish :)

You must mean will the swordtail nip at all? and yes perhaps, during breeding. Now considering you only have a 35l tank, you would be pushing it in terms of overstocking. Perhaps get 1 or 2 max, but if they breed (which isnt really hard) then you will need to consider that also

Yeah, i heard that as well. They find it hard to feed, so some add some kind of liquid to help. Also they only do best on really good, clean, with the best water quality!

Yeah they are well worth it. Provide oxygen, but also look real cool. A nice large one 12" at the back looks IMBA! (amazing)

I was wondering, When during a water change does it matter, if you use tap water from the bathroom or downstairs main tap? Because dont they have a slight PH difference? Also can you add Pure rainwater to a water change or is that a bad move?

I think that method applies to goldfish because they are cold blooded. However brick method sounds quick and easy. One way people also kill fish is a quick sharp cut to the head kills it instantly! One other way is to wrap it up in cloth and hit it on a hard service... But i never want to try...

You could add one to your tank.

Mine like the java balls and java moss. They sit on it when they go to sleep which is quite fun to watch. They also seem to like rooty plants (if tht makes sence)
