    One reason I have plants is because apistogramma are much more inclined to breed in a planted tank and I also did the same thing with the rams don't know if it helps them though

    The house has a gas heater I don't use it though the house has been remodeled very recently so is insolated well I just got my power bill and it skyrocketed and the fish room is the only thing I could think of because of the weather and I was thinking it might be cheaper to heat the room instead

    I was thinking about getting a space heater for the room I heat the tanks individually right now all at 80°F except the GBR tank those are at 84°F. I am breeding angelfish, german blue ram and apistogramma cacatuoides
