I have a few Kuhli loaches, and they are great. I know Indonesia is a bit far of a trek from South America but they are pretty easy to take care of and don't grow past 5 in. They are omnivores as well. They would make a good fit for that kind of environment.

Barbs go all over the place. They are really very energetic fish.

Why can't you mention 25%? That's all I ever do for all of my tanks. They are pretty heavily planted though and I'm sure that makes a difference.

Definitely safe after you've let it sit and out gas. I wouldn't recommend using it for anything but smaller valves and tank fittings though.

Remember the Golden rule when adjusting your pH: Go SLOW, very small increments.

Serpae tetra. They do absolutely nothing but bully each other all day long. Really aggressive and territorial even with plenty in the tank. Even my tiger barbs are more fun.
