taken my air stone out about 4 hours ok and all good :D woo hoo plants are doing well got more rich in colour and it's only been 12 hours after co2

i got mine from my lfs wasn't a bad price i got a 5 in 1 tester dip a stick a see the colours change and i bet at the start your test your water a lot more then needed i went thought 30 sticks in one week :D

thats what i got the little bubble run r they any good dose it work well? i find my self look at the co2 unit watching the bubles :D :D :D :P :D

don't think so i got my plants (real) from my lfs cost me £10 for any six plants try buying 6 fake plants for £10

thanks for the post guys the thing now is iv'e taken the airstone out but after maybe 3 to 4 hours the fish are top of the tank gasping again :crazy: i no this couldn't be lack of oxygen and i not my nitrite is a little tank doing a mini cycle. my fillter is surpose to add oxygen to the water...

ok just done a new test and i think i found the problem my ph has droped but now my nitrit has rose from 0 to about 3--4 :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: any ideas to lower it fast with out spending alot of money

thanks for all you help no its not coral sand but sharp sand which i got from my lfs they said it would be fine fish starting to act normal now took some time but getting there i put some carbon in my fillter to any baddys out the water from the sand the water did go muccy :crazy: carbon soon...

as i said in a post just gone i just finished changing the gravel in my tank to sand but now most of the fish are swimming on top of the water casping. i now what this meens theres not enought oxgyen in the water. i have real plants in there but have taken my air stone out going to fit a co2...

i've just the secound re molding my tank i change the gravel for sand and now my PH is 8 when before it was 6.8 all the time i can't remember i herd some where that sand makes the ph in you water rise is this true i hope not :crazy: if so whats the best way of bring it down has i keep loach's...

i only done a fish less cycle for 2 weeks got so bored just looking at plants i put 6 cherry barbs in, kept them in for 2 weeks and added more fish. had mine tank running for 9 months now and havn't lost one fish in fact had babys so i must be doing something right. BUT the tank was a old tank...

i'm from the uk and the heat the last few weeks was a problem but this is how to cope 1 put a few ice cubes in a sandwich bag and flot or 2 run a fan over the tank didn't think was going to work but after seeing my lfs doing this on all it's tanks i gave it a go and do you what it worked

can you keep shrimp with fish or do they have to be in a tank of there own i have guppys,cherry barbs, clown loach, naons, plats,and a cat fish will any of these fish eat them?

platies are well easy i have 4 2 males and 2 females i keep getting babys all the time so many i have to give them away to a m8 at work they just keep breeding (can you put a fish on the pill) :P :D :P :D i don't want any more

i have new born fry in my tank in fact a lot of fry and none of my fish has eaten any of them and on about selling to lfs mine won't have any because they said "might have disease's and what not so they don't take any fry any more" ANY BODY WANT SOME FISH I HAVE TO MANY :D

my tank is 49 gallon i don't think i'm that good yet might give the angle a miss or if i can talk to my wife nicely see if i can get a small ish tank just to put a angle in as for this tank might just put 6 or 7 guppys in i like them just as much :D thanks for all you help :hyper:

my tank isn't that big but big enought to and 1 angle i was thinking about my neons and forgot about that how ever my neons are not that big seeing i had them for about 4 months now will the angle still eat them

i am looking to put a new fish in my tank and i like the angle but i need to no will it be ok with my fish :unsure: i have 6 cherry barbs 4 sunset platts 3 clown loach 5 molles 12 neons 1 pleco the tank is well planted lots of caves,bog wood and bubbles is this ok for a angle :unsure:

if it was up to me i would but some clown loach in there i think they are so nice to look at sometimes be very funny to watch as well
