Nice pic - I'll have to see if I can manage to get a pic that clear of one or my shrimp.

FOTM nomintation!

he was transparent....but he died last night as well
I guess we'll have to learn a bit more about shrimp before we try to keep them again. :book:

can you keep shrimp with fish or do they have to be in a tank of there own
i have guppys, cherry barbs, clown loach, naons, plats, and a cat fish
will any of these fish eat them?

Sori to hear bout the shrimps :( Perhaps it's the shock when transporting back home. Did they hav a leaf or something to cling onto when they were in the bag?

 it's a lovely pic, but IMO those shrimp are pure evil, I bought several when they were tiny to feed to my eel but they were too "hard" for him unlike ghost shrimp and they grew sooooo large and their claws became so sharp , they started attacking my fish, I moved one to my 29 and I caught him eating a kuhli  :sly: :sly: :grr: , I yanked him out so fast his head was spinning and removed all of them from all of my tanks (which was NOT easy). They had grown so large that their antennas were easily 6" long a piece. I saw one at my LFS the other day and he had a baby guppy in each claw and one hanging out of it's mouth  . Sorry they died on you but maybe it was a blessing in disguise ;)

hmm thats not a good story wuvmybetta....I'll definatly do more research before buying shrimp again ( if i ever do get anymore )
