Right guys im on the 12th day of my fish in cycle.. My reading yesterday were AMONIA 0.50 NITRATE 10 NITIRITE 0.25 after a 60% water change i got all the levels to pritty much zero. And today i have AMONIA 0.25 NITRATE 10 NITRITE 0 so im going to do a smaller 40% waterchange this should...

why would i do that... i needed the filter media to help me cycle my tank faster.

Well as some of you may know i went to my friends house today to get some mature filter media from him. When i got there i was a bit supprised in the sence that i swear his fish had wite sports... Most (not all though) of his fish were covered with tinly little white spots.. so i guessed that...

Iv got a spray bar at the moment which is just under the surface which makes it quiet.. i couldnt stand it whne it was above the water.. i like it as its a relativly small tank and iv got a prity powerfull filter for it so the spray bar makes it vey calm..

i rekon youl be fine... or you could even go for 2 male and 4 female if you wanted... but then you will be getting fry and unless you have another tank for them then that will be a problem.. so if you only have a 10g tank thn just go for the 6 males...

Todays tests Amonia 0.25 Nitrate 10 Nitrite 0.25 ph 7.4 done a 70% waterchange... for a few reasons.. firstly to get the levels down, secondly to clean my glass from the insde and lastly to rearange some ornaments...
