I voted no coz, sorry to be a bore, but its your parents place I take it, and there will be plenty of time for you to get larger tanks when you have your own place. Besides, when you do fly the nest, its a lot easier to move a littlun than a bigun

Its running along the bottom back wall, (same as a long airstone we used to have), not sure what size pump is, but is housed in separate compartment and has coped well with two long airstones in the past!

my two clowns hang tightly with my histrionica loaches, so the five of them are always hanging out. I thought it was bad to have a clown on his lonesome coz they pine. Is that wrong then? :S

I have twelve cardinals in my tank, I also live in a hard water area, they have been with us now for about a month, and so far so good, no probs, all seem very happy to be there, they have had numerous part water changes, all to no ill effect. A month is not a good deal of time admittedly, but...

:) Thanks everyone - I will consider the back corner problem when I go to look at some. At present I have only seen them in a catalogue so didnt consider the prospect of it being difficult to get to the back. I guess I will end up with another rectangle! :thumbs:

Does anyone have a corner tank that can offer me advice. I have always had a rectangle tank, but am thinking of purchasing a corner tank in the near future. Are there any disadvantages to corner tanks? Thanks
