I treated my fish with ich medicine yesterday I've just realised that I have carbon in my filter I thought it was just regular filter stuff so obviously I need to remove it and do it again. Should I do it straight away or shall I wait until I'm meant to re-dose in 4 days?

Yeah maybe its a reticulated cory that's the closest I've seen to what I have. It looks exactly like a Julii just doesn't have the line, same pattern though. There all fully grown cory, there quite big so its definitely not a juvenile hmmmm.

Yeah I wouldn't touch your filter right now you need to build up the good bacteria worst thing you can do is wash it all away or change it. I don't even replace mine if its really bad I just give it a squeeze out in some old tank water and that's it.   Make sure your not over feeding him too...

I would recommend getting at least 5 or 6 neons/cardinals/chilli rasbora they will be much happier in larger numbers. What about Rummy nose tetras, amber tetras or neon rainbow fish? Anything bigger might pick on your smaller fish and shrimp.
