Current stocking:
20 gallon with 2 Bolivian rams and 9 rosy tetras
10 gallon with 2 dwarf gourami and 4 rummy nosed tetra.

I was thinking of moving the gourami into the larger tank so the 10 gallon would only have the tetras in it. His is so I can grow and keep shrimp in this tank without the gourami eating them.

Proposed stocking
20 gallon with 2 rams 2 gourami a bristle nosed Pleco and 9 rosy tetra
10 gallon with 6 rummy nosed tetras and 10 baby shrimp.

The 10 gallon is too small for the rummynose tetras as well, they'd be better off in a 20g+. This would overstock your current 20 though I think. Perhaps upgrade the 10 to another 20? :)

I think the 10 gallon would be ok if that's all you had in it, most websites say absolute minimum tank size for rummy's should be around 10-15 gallons so it would be pushing it a bit!

In the 20 gallon I'm not sure how the gourami and bolivian rams would get on they could be conflict but it really depends on the individual personalities of the fish it could go either way with that species.
