Thanks, that's what I figured but the missus keeps asking me when were getting more fish so thought I'd ask just in case.   AshleyNZ, I know they aren't sterbai, it was sterbai cory I was looking for but the LFS had none left so I got the above fish instead.

I have 120litre tank, 80cm wide, fluval U3, fully cycled etc with the following 5 small cory catfish (sorry don't know name, I think peppered corys) 11 neon tetra 4 platy 2 german blue ram cichlid's   Am I fully stocked or would I have room for something else?   This is my 1st time fishkeeping...

Hi all   I've a 120 litre tank with 6 little cory catfish & 12 neon tetras. The 12 neon tetras I added last friday. My tank is cycled a few weeks now & the corys are in about 3 weeks.   I was wondering would tomorrow be too soon to add a few more fish? I'm thinking of 6 harlequin rasbora or 2...

Yep, I'm using the venturi valve, it's supposed to add enough aeration so I've read.   lol at your username, I bought 12 NeonTetras today :)

Cheers, that's what I wanted to hear, I can use it so   I've a fluval U3 filter that should provide enough filtration & aeration on it's own, I'm just thinking of adding the airstone as decoration.   Thanks for your replies.

I got a tetra APS100 air pump, it says it's for aquariums between 50-100 litre. I have it in a 50 litre tank now but would like to move it to my main 120litre.   What is the problem with doing this? Will the motor just run harder or do I risk popping connections?

Just over 6 weeks, ammonia & nitrites are 0, nitrates about 20.   I done a 40 mile round trip today to get some sterazin to try save it, dosed about 5 hours ago, the sick fish is just hanging around in a corner now swimming slowly, not good...

hmm, not good, so it wasn't faeces then? He is still alive but not looking too great, could it have spread to my other fish? Should I remove him?   Extra info: I added a few rummynose 2 weeks ago & they showed signs of neon tetra disease so I had to get rid of them, after I added them 1 danio...

Help   Just noticed this red stuff coming out of my danio, it turned black at the end furthest away before breaking off, it was over 10cms, what is this.   This is the best pic I could get, you can make out the red stuff coming out if you look closely.      

Cheers everyone, I got 4 rummy tetra, they are about half the size of the danios so hopefully should be ok. I did want 2 sterbai cory but they had none in the shops I went to.

Thanks, I won't go mad so. What about the 2 corys? would that be OK? or 6 little rummys? my danios would be double the size of the rummys I'd be buying. I think I'd prefer the cory catfish though first, unsure now, I didn't think my tank would be cycled this quick.

Thanks for your reply, does that mean I can buy a couple of fish tomorrow? I'd like to get 6 rummynose tetras & 2 cory bottom feeders tomorrow, is that too much to add to the 5 zebra danios in a newly cycled tank at once?
